Our History…
The Principals Center, housed at Georgia State University is a collaborative effort between the University and local school districts and other agencies to provide cutting edge professional development for school leaders. The Center was founded at GSU in 1984 as part of the National Network of Principals’ Centers, created by Roland Barth at Harvard University. The Center offers training and support to help school leaders be successful change agents able to build strong learning communities. Through workshops, forums, seminars and interaction with peers and national experts, the Principals Center provides the knowledge and sophisticated skills required by today’s school executive.
